Space42 Launches Satellite Mobile Broadband Hotspot
Space42 has unveiled the Thuraya Mobile Broadband Hotspot (MBH), a rugged, easy-to-deploy terminal designed to bring secure satellite connectivity to remote land and maritime operations. Built for both commercial and government use, the MBH delivers reliable L-band broadband over the Thuraya satellite network, making it a powerful backup for VSAT or terrestrial infrastructure.
Compact and IP67/IP68-rated, the MBH supports communications for emergency responders, field workers, maritime crews, and government agencies operating in areas without stable terrestrial coverage. It’s equipped with tracking, geofencing, distress alerts, and a security-first architecture. The terminal also supports multiple languages, simple UI, and affordable data plans, extending critical communications where they’re needed most.
The device is compatible with the upcoming Thuraya-4 satellite and is now available through authorized service partners.
