Sateliot, CCww and Lekha Complete Successful NTN NB-IoT Interoperability Tests
Sateliot, the operator of the world’s first 5G-Advanced LEO Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) for IoT, has said it has successfully completed interoperability testing of its NTN NB-IoT technology with Communications Consultants Worldwide (CCww) and Lekha Wireless Solutions. The collaboration validated end-to-end registration and data transfer between the CCww/Lekha user equipment and Sateliot’s regenerative-mode IoT satellite test system.
The tests integrated Lekha’s PHY layer software with CCww’s 3GPP Release 17/18-compliant access and non-access stratum protocol stacks, demonstrating standards-aligned communication performance for future IoT terminals and chipsets. The successful uplink and downlink transmissions confirm interoperability between Sateliot’s constellation and third-party user equipment under 3GPP NTN specifications.
Sateliot CTO Marco Guadalupi said the partnership “enhances efficiency and accuracy in satellite technology testing, accelerating development cycles and reducing cost.” CCww CEO Richard Carter highlighted his company’s long history enabling “billions of end-user products,” while Ramu T.S., CEO of Lekha Wireless, described the collaboration as proof of the “advancing maturity of NTN IoT technology and its readiness for commercial adoption.”
