Myriota & Spire Global Expand Agreement to Add 16 More Satellites

IoT connectivity provider Myriota is scaling its space-based network with the addition of 16 new satellites under an expanded agreement with Spire Global. The move brings Myriota’s total constellation to over 40 satellites, boosting the global reach, responsiveness, and efficiency of its low-power IoT connectivity platform.

Building on a partnership that began in 2021, Myriota now leverages Spire Space Services not only for hosted software solutions but also for customised hardware payloads, enabling enhanced security, reduced latency, faster data access, and improved remote device control. This next-generation infrastructure supports use cases across industries such as agriculture, water management, and logistics, offering real-time insights and extended device battery life, and has potential to transform industrial operations through more accessible, scalable, and sustainable satellite connectivity.
