Mobi Egypt Taps Es’hailSat to Deliver High-Speed Connectivity Across MENA

Egypt’s Mobi Egypt has signed a new agreement with Qatar’s Es’hailSat that will expand high-performance satellite connectivity for its users across Egypt and the wider Middle East and North Africa. The deal will see Mobi Egypt migrate its VSAT networks onto Es’hail-1, the operator’s Ku-band satellite.

By transitioning its customer base to Es’hail-1’s high-powered coverage, Mobi Egypt aims to deliver more reliable, resilient, and consistent connectivity across the region supporting enterprise networks, remote operations, and mission-critical applications.

For Mobi Egypt, the agreement strengthens its ability to serve clients across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, logistics, government, and enterprise, many of which rely on VSAT connectivity in areas where terrestrial networks are limited or unavailable.

Es’hailSat, now more than 15 years into its regional operations, brings a broad portfolio of satellite broadcast and communication services to the partnership. With rising demand for stable broadband across MENA markets, particularly in remote and hard-to-serve regions, the collaboration positions both companies to meet growing enterprise and governmental connectivity requirements.
