Keysight to Demo NR-NTN LEO Mobility Testing with Samsung at MWC 2026
Keysight and Samsung have announced that they will showcase lab-based testing for 5G NR non-terrestrial networks (NR-NTN) at Mobile World Congress 2026 with a focus on mobility, handover and service continuity for satellite-to-mobile services.
The demonstration uses Keysight’s NTN network emulation platform together with Samsung’s NR-NTN modem to replicate LEO satellite conditions including fast satellite movement and dynamic link behaviour in a controlled test environment.
The work is aimed at preparing device and chipset ecosystems for upcoming direct-to-cell deployments, including timelines aligned with services like Starlink Direct-to-Cell, helping vendors validate performance before live networks are widely available.
