Eutelsat Adds MaiaSpace to Launch Roster to Support OneWeb LEO Continuity
Eutelsat has signed a multi-launch agreement with MaiaSpace to support future LEO satellite launches from 2027, strengthening access-to-space options for its OneWeb constellation.
As Eutelsat moves to position OneWeb as essential to enterprise, government and mobility connectivity services, assured and diversified launch access is critical to maintaining constellation availability and service quality as satellites are replenished or expanded.
MaiaSpace’s reusable mini-launcher, designed for constellation deployment and replenishment, adds a European sovereign launch option alongside Eutelsat’s existing partners. This reduces reliance on a narrow set of launch providers and aligns with broader European ambitions around secure, independent space infrastructure.
