Anritsu Adds 5G NTN Satellite Testing to MT8000A Platform

Anritsu has expanded its MT8000A Radio Communication Test Station to support 5G NR Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) devices, enabling satellite-based device testing in compliance with 3GPP Release 17.

As demand grows for resilient connectivity in remote and underserved areas, NTN technology is emerging as a critical component of global 5G infrastructure. Anritsu’s updated MT8000A allows developers to simulate key satellite conditions, including propagation delay and Doppler shift, ensuring reliable performance under real-world NTN scenarios.
