Sateliot Australian Launch Brings 5G Satellite IoT to 300,000 Devices

Sateliot has officially entered the Australian market, securing regulatory approval and contracts worth over $15 million AUD in recurring revenue. The company will connect 300,000+ IoT devices via its LEO-based, 5G-standard satellite network, delivering seamless coverage to remote and rural areas.

With commercial rollout set for H2 2025, Sateliot is also piloting its service with local IoT providers and has joined IoT Alliance Australia to boost industry collaboration.

“Our 3GPP-compliant solution works with existing SIMs and devices—no hardware changes needed,” said Gianluca Redolfi, CCO at Sateliot. “From agriculture to asset tracking, we’re unlocking true hybrid connectivity at scale.”

Backed by major European investors and telecom giants, Sateliot is rapidly positioning itself as a global force in standardized 5G IoT from space.
