Myriota Boosts Global NTN IoT Capacity with Eight-Satellite Launch

Myriota has strengthened its non-terrestrial IoT network following the successful launch of eight new satellites supporting its UltraLite™ service. The spacecraft were launched aboard a SpaceX mission in partnership with Spire Global, expanding coverage and resilience across more than 57 countries.

The new satellites deliver faster message delivery and higher reliability for ultra-low-power NTN IoT use cases, reinforcing Myriota’s strategy of hosting its payloads on partner spacecraft to scale quickly and cost-effectively. The upgrade targets asset tracking and sensing applications beyond terrestrial reach, including agriculture, water management, logistics, and environmental monitoring.

For the NTN ecosystem, the launch underscores continued momentum in LEO-based, standards-agnostic satellite IoT, as operators prioritize capacity, latency, and power efficiency to support mass-scale device deployments in remote and underserved regions.
