ARABSAT and LTT Partner to Strengthen Libya's Satellite Connectivity

ARABSAT and Libya Telecom and Technology (LTT) have signed a long-term strategic partnership to expand satellite communications services and strengthen Libya's digital infrastructure through enhanced high-throughput satellite (HTS) capacity.

Under the agreement, ARABSAT will provide capacity on its Arabsat-6A satellite at 30.5° East to support LTT's current and future connectivity requirements. The partnership is designed to improve the resilience, reliability and reach of Libya's communications infrastructure while creating a framework for future collaboration on satellite-enabled services.

The two organisations intend to develop integrated satellite communications solutions for government agencies, telecommunications operators, enterprises and other critical sectors, with a focus on improving network continuity and supporting the country's wider digital transformation agenda.
