ALL.SPACE Secures ESA Contract to Advance 5G Satellite Integration

ALL.SPACE has been awarded €3.42 million by the European Space Agency (ESA) under its Space for 5G/6G and Sustainable Connectivity program (ARTES) to accelerate the integration of 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) into its multi-orbit SATCOM terminals.

The project will:

  • Enable seamless interoperability between traditional SATCOM and 5G NTN from a single user terminal

  • Leverage a software-defined 5G NTN modem from NXGSAT, hosted on ALL.SPACE’s edge-compute module

  • Support convergence between satellite and cellular networks for government and commercial use cases

  • Anchor development at ESA’s 5G/6G Hub in the UK, reinforcing sovereign space capability and job creation

“This funding marks a unique moment,” said John-Paul Szczepanik, CTO at ALL.SPACE. “It allows us to unlock true interoperability and deliver resilient, high-speed, secure communications — even beyond terrestrial coverage.”

ESA Director Laurent Jaffart added, “This partnership with ALL.SPACE strengthens European autonomy, boosts competitiveness, and supports economic growth through next-gen connectivity.”
